The Oregon Ducks, the No. 1 overall AP player, have proven they belong in the Big 10.

They enter Saturday’s Week 10 game undefeated after defeating the Ohio State Buckeyes just a few weeks ago.

But they face a significant hurdle in the form of the Michigan Wolverines.

While Michigan isn’t the same team it was last year, its defense — ranked 32nd nationally in passing percentage — remains a formidable force.

The Ducks are elite offensively, ranking eighth among FBS teams in both rush and pass success rates.

Still, we saw them get off to a slow start – this year they averaged just 9.3 points in the first quarter.

This street environment will be her biggest challenge yet.

With “The Big House” shaking, disrupting communications and giving the Wolverines defensive energy, another slow start is likely for the Ducks.

On the other side of the matchup, Michigan was looking for answers offensively.

The Wolverines now have their third starting quarterback of the season, Davis Warren.

However, Warren did not impress with three touchdowns and six picks on 91 pass attempts.

The uncertainty in the passing game has allowed opposing defenses to focus their efforts on stopping the rush – like last week when Michigan State held Michigan to 3.8 yards per carry.

Oregon faces the run well, ranking 55th in rush success rate allowed. It will be a sellout to stop the run since its secondary is excellent and Michigan’s passing attack is unproven.

Look for these teams to trade stops early and keep this one under the first half total.
