College football live scores, updates and highlights: Georgia vs. Kentucky, UTSA vs. Texas and more

Week 3 doesn’t look very tempting at first glance, but you never know when a huge surprise will occur.

Saturday got off to a rocky start when No. 4 Alabama swept Wisconsin after Badgers QB Tyler Van Dyke suffered an injury on the opening drive. No. 6 Missouri followed that up with a nail-biting home win over No. 24 Boston College.

No. 16 LSU also had to come back on the road against South Carolina after falling behind 17-0 early. The Tigers did just that, picking up a crucial SEC win when the Gamecocks’ tying kick missed as time expired.

Perhaps the most notable result of the day was another disastrous loss for Florida State.

    Arch Manning continues to be good for Texas. This time it’s a 50-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Bond.

    The Longhorns lead 35-7 against UTSA.

  • Touch down in Colorado!

    Shedeur Sanders finds LaJohntay Wester on a lateral route for another touchdown, this time 34 yards, giving the Buffaloes a 14-3 lead with less than a minute left in the half.

  • For a minute, it looked like the Wildcats had made a pick-6 on a Carson Beck pass that bounced off a receiver’s hands, but the call was overturned. The ball landed on the ground.

    Georgia dodged a bullet but has to punt for the fourth time today.

    Kentucky leads 3-0.

  • Touch down in Colorado!

    The Buffaloes take the lead against their arch rivals when Shedeur Sanders finds LaJohntay Wester for a short touchdown pass.

  • Colorado State now leads Colorado 3-0 in Fort Collins. The start of the game was mediocre, as both teams are struggling on offense.

  • Quinn Ewers returns in civilian clothes, Steve Sarkisian says it was an abdominal injury

    It looks like Quinn Ewers is done for the day, as Steve Sarkisian described a “stomach strain.”

  • Kentucky takes the lead in Georgia

    Alex Raynor scores a 55-yard (!) field goal and Kentucky has an early advantage over the No. 1 Bulldogs.

  • Dylan Raiola starts well for Nebraska

  • Shaky start for No. 1 Georgia

    The first two possessions brought nothing for the Bulldogs. They were just able to avoid disaster with a botched snap on third down. Kentucky’s defense got off to a good start in Lexington.

  • Final score: Utah 38, Utah State 21

    Without starting QB Cam Rising, the Utes struggled early on. But freshman Isaac Wilson found his rhythm later in the game, completing 20 of his 33 passes for 239 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.

  • Landing in Texas!

    Arch Manning does it with his legs this time and sprints through the UTSA defense and scores a 67-yard touchdown.

  • We’re all in on this game between Georgia and Kentucky. The Bulldogs have punted on their first possession while the Wildcats are embarking on their first drive. In Georgia territory

  • Quinn Ewers injured, Arch Manning in action

    The Texas quarterback just left the game with a non-contact injury and it’s not looking good. Arch Manning replaced him and threw a touchdown on the next play, but Longhorns nation will be holding its breath for a while.

    Quinn Ewers throws his second TD pass of the game, this time 19 yards to Johntay Cook II.

    The Longhorns are already several points ahead of UTSA.

  • Touchdown in Utah

    Micah Bernard does most of the work for Utah on the ensuing drive, breaking through multiple tackles on a 64-yard run down the sideline. A few plays later, Isaac Wilson finds Carsen Ryan in the corner of the end zone for the score.

  • Utah State misses FG

    The lead remains 7 after USU’s Elliott Nimrod misses his field goal attempt.
