CM: Milan still has 20,000 tickets available for the Liverpool game

AC Milan’s biggest home game of the Champions League season is against Liverpool, at least on paper. Despite this, the club is having trouble selling all the tickets.

As Calciomercato.com writes, Milan is preparing for another big Champions League night, with tomorrow’s match at the San Siro against Liverpool, which will open the Rossoneri’s 2024-25 European season, just around the corner.

Although Zlatan Ibrahimovic said in a press conference that the management “has probably built a team that is more European than ready for the Italian league”, Milan fans are not yet convinced to react by buying tickets for the game against the Reds.

The difficult start to the season slowed down the willingness to spend and invest a lot of money on this game. The game against Venezia was different, ending in a sold-out 4-0 victory that restored some confidence.

Although Liverpool tickets went on sale in style on Saturday night, a large portion of the stadium is still available. In fact, only 55,000 tickets have already been sold and, with a capacity of over 75,000 seats, there are still more than 20,000 tickets available.

Milan have decided to keep tickets on sale until match day, hoping that many will be tempted by the chance to secure a ticket for their Champions League debut. The open sale period began on Friday 6 September and will end immediately before the match.
