Clearwater Fire The emergency department responded to a large fire on Gentry Drive at a scrap metal recycling business Friday. That comes after Hurricane Milton rushed in Florida coast, caused property damage and triggered several tornadoes across the state. Several social media users and Clear water Locals posted images of the fire on X, a platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Fire and rescue crews are currently on the scene of a structure fire in Clearwater, Florida,” a local reporter posted on the Elon Musk-led platform.

“Sheeeesh!! This is in the industrial area of ​​Clearwater. I hope everyone is well,” another person added.

On Thursday, Colorado Task Force One (CO-TF1) began rescue operations all the way through Tampa. Some employees were sent to Clearwater.

The task force’s project manager told 11 News, “I know the power will go out again, probably the water will go out again, and certainly the food will spoil if the power goes out.” So, food and water… and those issues will will be our top priority over the next few days until they can restore power.”

“Once the rescue operations are complete, they will switch to a grid search. Search all damaged structures, debris piles and GPS markers so we can begin clearing communities and helping locals so they don’t have to go back and do this again,” added Bob Olme, project manager for Colorado Task Force One , added.

Clearwater is a city in Pinellas County, Florida. It is located northwest of Tampa and St. Petersburg and is part of the Tampa Bay metropolitan area.

Clearwater is approximately 20 miles (32 km) from Tampa and 7 miles (11 km) from St. Petersburg.
