Check out the inside of Drew Brees’ Montana treehouse up for auction | Real Estate

Drew Brees is parting with his fully furnished, rustic $7.5 million Montana treehouse as the property is set to go up for auction next month.

The former NFL champion’s estate is located near the small mountain town of Whitefish, Montana, and was built by the crews of Animal Planet’s reality show “Treehouse Masters” in 2023, according to Christie’s International Real Estate.

While Brees’ 1,600-square-foot home is listed for $7.5 million, opening bids are expected to be between $2 million and $4 million, according to Concierge Auctions.

Bidding begins at 5 p.m. on Sept. 13 and ends at 9 p.m. on Sept. 26, Concierge Auctions said. A $100,000 bidder deposit is required.

Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and forests, the modern home sits on 20 acres in a private, gated community called Homestead, the auction house said. The luxurious complex, located 13 miles outside of Whitefish, features a personal concierge, a lakeside clubhouse and a golf course.

According to Concierge Auctions, residents have access to numerous water activities on Little Bootjack Lake – fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Other outdoor activities available include hiking and shooting and archery.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home is raised 15 feet above ground and features exposed beam ceilings, whitewashed oak floors and large windows that look out over land for miles in every room, the property website says. In addition to the furnished living room with a sofa and fur-covered swivel chair, there is a patio with outdoor furniture surrounding a rectangular propane fire pit.

The kitchen is small but has many amenities: a bridge, an electric stove, a dishwasher and seating at the bar.

Brees told the New York Post in August that he was grateful to the Treehouse Masters teams for turning his “dream (his property) into a reality.”

“We will always cherish these memories,” Brees said in an interview, “and are pleased to have paved the way for the next owner to appreciate the true beauty of Whitefish and the Homestead community.”
