CeeDee Lamb comments on the Dallas Cowboys’ “disgusting” loss to the 49ers

The Dallas Cowboys had high hopes heading into the Week 7 draw, but the team was unable to overcome the demons of the past and once again fell to the San Francisco 49ers.

Dallas went into halftime with a 10-6 lead, but the team completely collapsed in the third quarter and was outscored 21-0.

The Cowboys stormed back in the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late, and the offense failed with four straight incompletions in its final attempt at a comeback victory.

After the game the frustration was clearly noticeable.

Star cornerback Trevon Diggs came out of the locker room and confronted a local reporter about a tweet that was sent during the game. The tweet questioned Diggs’ efforts and he wasn’t pleased.

Cowboys star receiver CeeDee Lamb, who had an outstanding game with 13 catches and two touchdowns for 146 yards, expressed the frustration with his brief comment.

“Really bad. “It really sucks,” Lamb said of how badly the Cowboys wanted to end their losing streak against the 49ers. “Especially because we’ve come here three times in the last three years (and) we lost to them. “It’s disgusting.”

The team’s seven other pass catchers combined for 12 yards and 97 yards.

On the ground, the rushing attack sputtered again, rushing for just 56 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries, an average of 2.9 yards per carry.

If the Cowboys want to turn things around, someone outside of Lamb will have to step in. And Dak Prescott needs to reduce his turnover and prove he’s worth $60 million a year.

Next up for Dallas is a showdown against the 5-3 Atlanta Falcons on the road in Week 9.
