Carolina Panthers at Denver Broncos: Here’s how to watch in Week 8

The Denver Broncos won two of their three games in October and both victories were blowouts. That trend should continue this week with a win over the Carolina Panthers, but of course they need to come out and play well again this week. They can’t be as flat as they were two weeks ago against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The good news is that the Broncos have had good luck with backup quarterbacks in recent weeks, and that will continue today as they take on Bryce Young and the Panthers. This is a crucial game for Denver as they hope to move to 5-3 before a tough two-game road game against the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs.

My prediction: Broncos 26, Panthers 13. The only reason I didn’t increase this point differential is because of my distrust of the offense. Sometimes they score and sometimes they frustrate – that’s the way of the rookie starting quarterback. Not that I’m disappointed in Bo Nix, but it’s just the reality of having a young man leading the offense. What I expect is defensive dominance, so 13 points might be the ceiling for Carolina in this game.
