Cardinals celebrate successful comeback against Tua, Dolphins

Accumulating wins has not been common for the Arizona Cardinals in recent years. In 2024 this will no longer be the case.

Despite being unbalanced early, the Cardinals defeated the Miami Dolphins 28-27 to secure back-to-back wins for the first time since October 2021.

Similar to last week’s win over the Los Angeles Chargers, the Cardinals needed a strong second-half performance and a game-winning field goal from Chad Ryland to complete the comeback.

But unlike last week, rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was a key player in Arizona’s win.

Harrison managed 111 yards and a touchdown on six catches (seven scores) in the final two quarters. Most of this damage occurred late in the game.

Along with Harrison, tight end Trey McBride had a day with nine catches (11 targets) for 124 yards.

Cardinals with a chance to top NFC West

With Sunday’s win over the Dolphins, the Cardinals now have a chance to move to the top of the NFC West.

It all depends on what the division-leading Seattle Seahawks do against the Buffalo Bills.

A loss puts the Cardinals in sole possession of first place based on divisional record.

A win keeps Arizona firmly in second place entering Week 9.
