While speaking at a rally for Kamala Harris this evening, Cardi B called Donald Trump a “merchant” with a “plan to push you” and warned that he doesn’t “believe women deserve rights.”

The rapper and songwriter also explained why she supported Harris, telling the audience in Milwaukee that she wasn’t even planning on voting this year until the vice president entered the race.

“She completely changed my mind,” said Cardi B. “I had no confidence in any candidate until she joined the race and said the things I wanted to hear, the things I wanted to see next in this country.”

She also shared her own story with Harris’s. “Just like Kamala Harris, I was the underdog. I was underestimated, my success was belittled and discredited. Let me tell you something. Women have to work ten times harder, perform ten times better, and yet people ask us how we got to the top.”

She added: “I can’t stand a bully, but just like Kamala, I always fight back against one.”

She reviewed some of Harris’ policy proposals, such as her plans to crack down on food price gouging, offer $25,000 down payment assistance and expand the child tax credit.

Cardi B dedicated part of her 10-minute speech to one of Trump’s comments this week that he would be a protector of women “whether they like it or not.”

“People like Donald Trump don’t believe that women deserve rights, and when those rights are taken away, they are nowhere to be found,” she said, noting that after Roe v. Wade was overturned, no plan was put in place to support it Women with unplanned pregnancies who are struggling to make ends meet.

“If (Trump’s) definition of protection is not freedom of choice, if his definition of protection is making sure our daughters have fewer rights than our mothers, then I don’t want that,” she said.

She then called Trump a “rabble-rouser,” but “squeezing women out of their right to their bodies is a disgusting job.” It is also disgusting to alienate Americans by selling Trump watches, Trump sneakers and the Trump Bible to push for their hard-earned money – the watches, by the way, cost $100,000 and are made in China, another country he has discredited.”

Cardi B is the latest celebrity to join Harris on the campaign trail in the final days before the election. Jennifer Lopez spoke at a rally for Harris on Thursday evening. On Saturday, Harris will hold a rally in Atlanta with speeches from Spike Lee and Victoria Monét, as well as performances from 2 Chains, Monica and Pastor Troy. She will then perform in Charlotte with remarks from Kerry Washington and performances from Brittney Spencer, Jon Bon Jovi, Khalid and The War And Treaty.
