The Cleveland Browns have activated RB Nick Chubb (Reserve/PUP) and S Juan Thornhill (Reserve/Injured). Additionally, the team called up WR Jaelon Darden from the practice squad.

Chubb suffered a knee injury on September 18, 2023 in Pittsburgh. The 2018 second-round pick is among the Browns’ career leaders in rushing touchdowns (third with 48) and rushing yards (fourth with 6,511). He was placed on reserve/PUP with a knee injury on August 27 and was scheduled to return on October 2. He will have no injury status for the game. The four-time Pro Bowler wears number 24.

Thornhill appeared in the season opener and recorded nine tackles. He appeared in 77 career games with 64 starts and recorded 295 tackles, eight interceptions, 21 passes defensed and one sack. He was placed on injured reserve on September 11th due to a calf injury and was scheduled to return on October 16th. He will not have injured status for the game. Thornhill wears number 1.

Darden (5-8, 175) is in his third NFL season out of North Texas. Darden was originally selected by Tampa Bay in the fourth round in 2021 and has played in 26 games in his career, including five with the Browns. He recorded 63 punt returns for 624 yards (9.9 average) and 27 kickoffs for 565 yards (20.9 average) in his career. Darden will wear number 16.
