Casa Bonita’s Root Beer Bar has three root beers on tap, all from local purveyors, including Zuberfizz Root Beer from Durango, Rocky Mountain Root Beer from Denver and Tommyknocker from Idaho Springs.

Larson, best known for her role as Captain Marvel in the MCU, has received great critical acclaim throughout her career. In addition to her comic role, she received widespread praise for her portrayal of Joy “Ma” Newsome in the 2015 drama Rooma role that won her the Oscar for Best Actress.

She is known for her versatility in balancing blockbuster roles and independent projects and has also appeared in projects including Kong: Skull Island, Avengers: EndgameAnd Fast X.

Larson’s visit is just one of many celebrity sightings at the nostalgic Denver restaurant in recent years. Last year, singer Ed Sheeran thoroughly enjoyed the Casa Bonita experience, stopping by Empower Field the night before his record-breaking concert, where he marveled at the cliff divers and the immersive atmosphere.

Additionally, “The Cure” frontman Robert Smith was another high-profile visitor who praised Casa Bonita’s unique entertainment during his tour stop there in 2023.
