BridgertonOriginal Francesca actress Ruby Stokes has joined the cast of an upcoming alternate history film set in the 19th century titled CrazyfabulousStokes was originally part of the cast of Bridgerton During seasons 1 and 2, she played a recurring role as one of the middle sisters in the large, titular family. However, her role was recast in season 3, with Hannah Dodd stepping into her shoes and the character becoming a central part of the series. Despite this, Stokes’ performance remains a memorable part of the show’s earlier seasons.

Now, Deadline reports that Stokes will join the cast of a new historical film, Crazyfabulousa dramatic reinterpretation of 19th century Britain. The film revolves around the lavish life of Henry Paget (Callum Scott Howells), the Marquess of Anglesey, whose journey grapples with issues of social class and gender norms. Stokes plays Lily, Henry’s girlfriend and loveralthough the couple is in a platonic relationship. In addition to announcing their engagement, actor Rupert Everett (Napoleon).
