Country singer Brantley Gilbert stopped a live show to celebrate the new addition to his family.

The “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” singer and wife Amber Cochran Gilbert welcomed a newborn baby into the world on Friday night during Brantley Gilbert’s concert in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Brantley Gilbert revealed the news in an Instagram video posted on Saturday, detailing the previous evening’s events along with a caption, writing that the experience “may have been the craziest night of my life.”

The video begins with Brantley Gilbert warming up the crowd on stage before being hastily chased off the stage.

“Shortly after Brantley’s performance begins, he is brought backstage for an emergency,” the screen says. A clip shows Brantley Gilbert running off the stage as crew members follow him.

Next, the video shows the singer breaking the good news to his mother over the phone on a tour bus. “How are you doing?” his mother asked, the video shows.

“Not as good as you’re going to be, you got a new grandchild,” says Brantley Gilbert.

The video then shows photos and videos of Amber Gilbert and the couple’s newborn baby on the bus.

“She’s great, she’s absolutely great,” Brantley Gilbert’s mother says of Amber Gilbert over the phone.

The video shows Brantley Gilbert later returning to the stage and continuing the show while announcing, “We’re having a baby!” to the cheering Tupelo crowd.

The country singer further described the experience in his Instagram caption, writing, “So last night was maybe the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I will never forget.”

In his caption, he thanked several people, including his wife, who “made me love you and showed me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be.”

The couple announced they were expecting a child earlier this year, posting an Instagram photo of an ultrasound scan.
