Borderlands 4 is supposed to make you forget that the movie was crap

Well, that borders on desperation at this point

Randy Pitchford, co-founder and former CEO of Borderland Developer Gearbox Software has had a few super normal, completely ordinary days.

Since the Borderland The film received shockingly low reviews and flopped at the box office on August 9th of last week. Randy went on a very long, whiny Twitter rant about it.

Check out our Borderlands movie interview below!

After spending six days responding to everyone who mentioned the film in any way online, Randy’s little tantrum finally reached its peak when he confirmed that he had banned several prominent film critics for the horrific crime of honestly reviewing a film.

“Yesterday I blocked a lot of really nasty accounts, but in doing so I accidentally blocked at least three good accounts…” he posted on Sunday, “…I don’t usually block criticism. I’ve always benefited from it and have never been short of criticism 🙂 Cheers and stay cool.”

He also really, really dislikes Forbes writer Paul Tassi for some reason, saying: “Oh, except for that @PaulTassiguy. It’s been pointed out to me that I blocked him too. So far I’ve blocked, I think, three people by accident. Not @PaulTassi – I thought he was acting like an asshole so I blocked him on purpose. I unblocked him but I might block him again…”

Oh, and while he was throwing his toys out of the stroller, Randy also decided Borderlands 4.

He couldn’t have done it in a more Randy-like way, either, as he decided to cap off one of his tirades with the casual confirmation that the game was probably in active development.

“So what you’re saying is, you like what my friends and I are doing with our Borderlands video games even better than what some of the biggest and best actors and filmmaking crew on the planet have done,” says the perfectly normal, totally non-crazy ramblings of a madman. “…I’m incredibly flattered! We’re working extra hard for you on what’s next…”

So there you have it folks, get excited for Borderlands 4…
