ST. LOUIS – Kasperi Kapanen scored 4:26 into the third period to tie the game, and the St. Louis Blues beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-3 on Saturday night.

Mathieu Joseph and Jake Neighbors each had a goal and an assist for St. Louis in its second straight win. Dylan Holloway also scored.

Andrei Svechnikov, Shayne Gostisbehere and Jack Roslovic scored for Carolina. Pyotr Kochetkov made 15 saves.

Joel Hofer, making his second straight start for St. Louis, made 37 saves. In Thursday’s 1-0 overtime win over the New York Islanders, he made 34 saves and assisted on the only goal, becoming the only goalie in NHL history with a shutout and an assist on the game’s only goal.
