Just a week and a half ago, the mall emo nostalgia festival “When We Were Young” took place in Las Vegas in 2024. They have already planned for 2025. WWWY ’25 will feature Blink-182, Weezer and a one-off appearance by Vegas band Panic! be seen. At The Disco play their debut album A fever you can’t sweat out completely for the 20th anniversary.

Panic! has essentially been Brendan Urie’s solo project since 2015. However, in January 2023, he announced that he and his wife were expecting a baby and therefore the band would “cease to exist”. I guess October 2025 will give him a decent chunk of paternity leave. According to a press release, “When We Were Young” will be the “only chance” to see them live. No word on whether Urie is bringing his back FeverBandmates from the era.

The rest of the festival will also feature performances by Avril Lavigne, The Offspring, The Used, All Time Low, Knocked Loose, Yellowcard, Simple Plan, Taking Back Sunday, Never Shout Never, The Cab, The Rocket Summer, Jack’s Mannequin, etc see his more. In addition, there will be a one-day format again on October 18th, instead of two days with an identical lineup. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 1st here. Hopefully they can get a head start on proofreading next year’s merchandise.
