Former President Bill Clinton had to gently remind a McDonald’s employee in Georgia of who he was in an encounter that went viral on social media.

In the clip, Clinton’s deputy chief of staff Angel Ureña is emblazoned on the back cover.

The woman at the counter immediately flashes a wide grin, as if she easily recognizes herself, but it’s obvious she’s not entirely sure which wizened elder statesman is standing in front of her.

After a few seconds, she takes a chance and asks: “You Joe?” – an obvious reference to President Biden, 81.

The tone is quiet, but the former president, 78, appears to be saying, “I’m Bill.”

The McDonald’s employee then becomes much more excited – she shouts “Bill!?” – and quickly goes around the counter to hug him.

Your colleagues laugh and clap while the counter worker giggles with joy. Clinton smiles broadly as employees walk from the back of the restaurant to the front to capture the moment on their cell phones, shooting each other incredulous looks.

Clinton came to the restaurant after Harris’ campaign ousted him just three weeks before Election Day, as polls show her support from the black community lags far behind previous Democratic candidates.

Trump is at 15% among black voters this year, compared to just 7% in 2016.

With its 16 electoral votes, Georgia is considered an important swing state that both parties are fighting aggressively to win.

The photo shoot was something of a homecoming for the now slim former commander-in-chief. Although he has been a vegan for more than a decade, Bubba’s fondness for cheeseburgers, particularly from McDonald’s, was well known during his presidency.

A famous photo from the 1990s shows Clinton, drenched in sweat from jogging, grabbing a bite to eat at Mickey D’s, flanked by the Secret Service.
