The key question for this week’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race is how much you invest Ty Majeskis recent increase.

Majeski comes into the race after wins at Richmond and IRP, and Milwaukee is another track with minimal bank. It’s also Majeski’s home track, so Narrative Street is all on his side.

My model is still slower to react on Majeski because it relies on the larger sample size we’ve seen over the year. That could mean Majeski is undervalued, but it’s also possible the market is undervaluing others based on their performance in just two races.

• Christian Eckes (+330): Eckes finished second to Majeski at IRP and Richmond, giving him five podiums this year in races he hasn’t won. With wins at Nashville, Martinsville and Bristol, Eckes is in the race often enough to justify betting on him at a low number.
• Taylor Gray (+4500): Gray has excelled on flat tracks lately, posting top-five finishes in both the Truck and Xfinity Series races at Pocono and Richmond. He averaged ninth at Milwaukee last year, so the model considers him a driver with power.
• Ben Rhodes (+5000): Rhodes is most successful on flatter courses, averaging sixth at Gateway and Richmond. He also took the podium at Darlington, showing he’s good on intermediate, unique courses.
