    EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Joe Burrow’s longest run as a professional opened the scoring on “Sunday Night Football” against the New York Giants.

    With the Cincinnati Bengals facing third-and-18, Burrow appeared to give an audible signal at the line of scrimmage. As soon as he got the shotgun blast, he ran into an open right side of the field.

    Burrow dove for the pylon and beat Giants safety Jason Pinnock to the end zone to give the Bengals a 7-0 lead with 11:32 left in the first quarter. Before that 47-yard run, Burrow’s career total was 23 yards.

    The last time he had such a long carry was while in college at LSU, when he reeled in a 59-yarder against Georgia in 2018.
