Batista says top WWE star has unlimited acting potential – TJR Wrestling

Batista believes that a top WWE star is already a great actor.

Wrestlers becoming actors is nothing new, but it must be admitted that not everyone has had the success they hoped for outside of the ring. However, Dave Bautista, known to wrestling fans as Batista, has proven in spectacular fashion that it is possible to be successful in both fields.

On the eve of the release of his latest film The murderer’s gamewith none other than Drew McIntyre, Batista expressed his thoughts on who from the WWE could make the jump to Hollywood.

During his appearance on BuzzFeed Celeb, Batista said he would love to see CM Punk take on more acting roles in the future given his “unlimited” potential.

“You know who I really overlooked as an actor? I don’t know if he hasn’t pursued it as much as he would have liked because he’s still heavily involved in professional wrestling, but it’s CM Punk, Phil Brooks. His potential as an actor is almost unlimited.

I really want to see more of him as an actor. I would really like to work with him because I think he has a passion for acting, but I think his heart is still in professional wrestling and until he can let go of that a little bit, he’ll never be able to fully commit to acting, but I think Phil Brooks is a great actor.”

Big WWE star wants dream match with Batista

During an interview of his own promotion The murderer’s gameDrew McIntyre said he would love a fight with Batista if he ever returns to wrestling. The Scottish star said he hopes their fight scene in the film isn’t the last time they get the chance to fight on screen.

Despite McIntyre’s pleas, it doesn’t look like his wish will come true. In a recent interview, Batista reiterated that he will never wrestle again because he doesn’t want to ruin the perfect ending to his career.

Batista has not wrestled since his loss to Triple H at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
