Bankroll Freddie sentenced to 12.5 years in federal prison for drug and weapons offenses

Finance Freddiethe Arkansas rapper behind popular tracks like “Rich Off Grass” and “Add It Up” was just handed a 12.5 year prison sentence.

The rapper, known offstage as Freddie Demarus Gladney III, learned his fate this week after being found guilty in April for his role in a major drug and weapons case. Specifically, his charges included possession and distribution of marijuana, possession and distribution of a controlled substance, possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking, and use of a communications facility to commit drug trafficking offenses. Freddie was picked up 2022 as part of a federal raid in Arkansas that targeted the Every Body Killas (EBK) and Loady Murder Mobb gangs. Freddie was allegedly a member of the EBK, whose members accounted for over 30 of the arrests. His father, Freddie Gladney Jr., was also taken into custody. The rapper and other gang members were accused of “voluntarily and willfully” conspiring to distribute cocaine, crack, meth and marijuana, which financed their daily operations.

Freddie signed to Quality control In 2019. His debut album “From Trap to Rap” followed in 2020, with performances by Moneybagg Yo, Young Dolph and Lil Baby. One of his most notable singles, “Pop It,” was released and featured in 2021 Megan Thee Stallion.
