Avelo Airlines offers flights from PBI to the Philadelphia area

Avelo Airlines continues its growth in Palm Beach and has announced the resumption of nonstop service between Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) and Wilmington Airport (ILG), serving the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley region.

Beginning November 8, Avelo will operate this route to Philadelphia/Wilmington twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays with Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. Low one-way fares from PBI start at $67. Travelers can make reservations at www.aveloair.com.

Philadelphia/Delaware Valley will resume Avelo’s current nonstop service to Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in southern Connecticut.

“We are excited to continue our growth in the Palm Beaches and resume our nonstop service to Philadelphia,” said Andrew Levy, founder and CEO of Avelo Airlines. “In addition to returning to Philadelphia and our successful New Haven service, we are excited to introduce travelers in the Palm Beaches to Avelo’s low fares, travel-friendly convenience and industry-leading reliability. This nonstop service will also allow travelers in the Delaware Valley to quickly and easily enjoy the scenic beaches, shopping and charming character of West Palm.”

Laura Beebe, PBI’s director of airports, agreed. “We are thrilled to welcome back our passengers on the Wilmington-Palm Beach route,” Beebe said. “Avelo Airlines is committed to providing exceptional and affordable travel experiences, and this resumption underscores our commitment to connecting key destinations with the convenience and comfort our travelers expect. We look forward to making every trip enjoyable and seamless for our customers.”

Conveniently located just a short drive south of Philadelphia, Wilmington Airport offers a refreshingly fast, smooth and easy alternative to an airport in your hometown. ILG’s proximity to several major highways and railroads makes it a convenient and travel-friendly airport for Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley, which includes parts of four states: southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, southern New Jersey and the northern eastern shore of Maryland.

Since launching on April 28, 2021, Avelo has carried more than 5.2 million customers on over 40,000 flights. Today, Avelo serves 54 destinations in 24 states, Puerto Rico and two international countries, Jamaica and Mexico. For more information, visit www.aveloair.com.
