    Auburn football probably wants to get the taste of last week’s Oklahoma game out of its mouth.

    The Tigers (2-3, 0-2 SEC) led No. 17 Oklahoma for much of the game, but a pick-six by Payton Thorne with 4:31 left in the game gave the Sooners their first lead of the game which ended up being a 26-21 loss to the Sooners. It was the first and only turnover for the Tigers, a week after they were doomed to defeat by Arkansas.

    Auburn might have a hard time bouncing back against another team looking to improve on its performance from a week ago. No. 5 Georgia looks to get back on track after a 41-34 loss to Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The Bulldogs trailed 28-0 but fought back and took the lead in the fourth quarter before Alabama scored a touchdown and sealed the game with an interception by Carson Beck.

    Georgia leads the all-time series with Auburn, also known as the “Oldest Rivalry in the Deep South,” 64-56-8, including a 27-20 win at Auburn last season.
