Aspen Skiing Company’s love letter to the sport

ASPEN, Colo. – No matter what you think of Aspen Snowmass, you can’t deny that it’s a legendary place. Maybe you love the mountains, maybe you dislike the cost or the attitude in the surrounding town. But Aspen is iconic, and their latest love letter to the mountains and to skiing in general seems to reflect that.

“Storm chasers, art lovers, mountaineers, foodies, athletes, and visionaries of all kinds – a collection of colorful characters have gathered in the mountains of Aspen Snowmass for decades, living out their dreams and forming an unparalleled community. Classic and quirky, this is where we storm steep slopes and develop new ideas.

Whether you’re hiking and skiing the legendary Highland Bowl, engaging with global thought leaders at the Aspen Institute, or enjoying a Michelin-starred meal, world-class terrain, art, and culture continue to define this place. And so we continue to do things our way. Out of love for this place, we honor the past. Out of love for our planet, we think long-term. And out of love for community, we celebrate joy.

Aspen Mountain and Snowmass are currently scheduled to open on November 28, while Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk are set to open on December 14. The Aspen season pass is currently on sale, with the Premier Pass, which offers unlimited access to all four mountains (plus a free Ikon Base Pass), costing $2,974.
