Ariana Grande and Bowen Yang convince Stevie Nicks to sing “Landslide” for them in the new “SNL” promo

Bowen Yang and Ariana Grande took advantage of the presence of the legendary Stevie Nicks in their presence.

In a new promo for the upcoming October 12 episode Saturday Night LiveGrande and Yang discuss Grande’s return as host of the sketch comedy series. “You know what they say: Lightning strikes once, maybe twice,” he said Evil Star says, referencing Fleetwood Mac’s 1982 hit “Gypsy,” and hoping Nicks would sing along.

“You can’t make me sing,” Nicks tells the crew as Yang and Grande nod in agreement before talking about how their weekend went. “It was good, you know, I climbed a mountain and turned around,” Grande says.

“That’s so funny ’cause I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills,” Yang replies, eventually prompting Nicks to complete the lyrics of Fleetwood Mac’s 1975 classic “Landslide” by singing, “And the landslide brought me down.”

This weekend’s deployment marks Grande’s second tax mandate SNLafter her hosting debut in 2016. After the release of her album, which topped the Billboard 200 Eternal sunshine Earlier this year, the Grammy winner served as the musical guest on a March episode of the show hosted by Josh Brolin and took part in a few skits, including one Moulin Rouge Parody with Yang. Meanwhile, Nicks will be the musical guest for the first time since 1983. Fleetwood Mac has never appeared on the show.
