Andrew Garfield’s “Chicken Shop Date” closes the flirting circle

After two years of flirty red carpet encounters, actress and presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg finally sat down for a real fake date to ponder whether it could actually be something real

If you ever have had an overwhelming urge to go on a first date with another person, the long-awaited Andrew Garfield Date at the chicken shop Episode is here. After two years of flirty encounters on the red carpet and at parties between the actor and presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg, the couple finally sat down for a real fake date to consider whether it could be something real.

“Do you think if this hadn’t been here we would have actually dated?” Garfield asked. The actor first met the host of the popular YouTube series on the red carpet at British GQ’s Man of the Year Awards in November 2022. The tension of the interaction made their back-and-forth seem like an invasion of her privacy observe. They later met at the 2023 Golden Globes for another encounter pretending there were no cameras rolling.

“That sucks — the fact that maybe we could have actually gone on a date at some point,” he said. “If you strip away all the practicalities and logic, I actually think we could maybe do without all of that.” The episode appears to be Garfield’s third or fourth date with Dimoldenberg. After seven minutes, they were already discussing marriage plans, whether they both wanted children and their thoughts on separate bedrooms.

Then Garfield started to really open up and share his complicated feelings about the industry’s awards. He was nominated for the Oscars twice, but lost both times. “Would you be more attracted to me if I had an Oscar?” he asked. Garfield had just said that he was starting to feel like he should give up on that dream, but when Dimoldenberg answered “yes,” he began to reconsider. “My longing for it is back,” he said. “But then I try to please you and that sucks. That’s not the kind of relationship I want.”

On trend

Garfield also doesn’t want it to be too public. He described Hollywood relationships as “flash in the pan stuff” but told Dimoldenberg: “I think we would have a really nice time without the camera. I think we would just enjoy each other’s company. In my opinion this should be a practice round. I think we should actually do it again, and do it better. This was just supposed to be a test.”
