Amon-Ra St. Brown rolls in the secondary for the Vikings

The duel between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7 is one of the best games on Sunday. It’s a battle for the NFC North between the division’s final two champions.

Detroit has built its offense around a talented running game, but Minnesota will look to eliminate that with its second-ranked run defense. This could force the Lions to look up in the air.

If Jared Goff is inclined to vent, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is a prime target. After a four-catch, 37-yard performance against the Dallas Cowboys, the USC product could be in for a big game against the Vikings.

According to PlayiLottery lead writer Drew Ellis, St. Brown is actually surpassing his over of 75.5 receiving yards, which is currently listed at odds of (-115) at Draft Kings Sportsbook.

“There is no player in this league who thrives on disrespect like Amon-Ra St. Brown. This week, the Lions face a big NFC North game with pundits doubting the team because of the loss of Aidan Hutchinson,” Ellis told Lions on SI. “Also, this week Pittsburgh Steeler George Pickens decided to unnecessarily tarnish St. Brown by calling him a “slot dealer.” St. Brown knows everyone who was drafted before him, and he certainly heard that shot from one of his colleagues.

It was a quieter start to the year for St. Brown, as he had 31 catches for 289 yards and three touchdowns in the first five games. The wideout has scored a touchdown in each of the last three games.

“He will be ready to prove how good he is. “Not to mention, St. Brown dominated against Brian Flores’ defense last year,” Ellis continued. “He passed for more than 100 yards in both meetings in 2023 and combined for 19 catches for 250 yards and two touchdowns. I think that trend continues this Sunday and St. Brown has at least 76 receiving yards.”

The game odds are updated regularly and are subject to change.
