All NCAA student-athletes playing in the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup

The 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be held in Colombia from August 31 to September 22. The biggest stage in women’s youth soccer will feature 50 NCAA student-athletes from 14 countries. These athletes from 35 member schools will take a break from their collegiate seasons to compete in the 11th edition of the event.

Florida State is sending six Seminoles to the tournament, including four competing for the U.S. Notre Dame and UCLA are the next largest representatives, with three student-athletes competing in Columbia.

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup takes place every two years – and has been expanded to 24 teams for the first time. Spain won the last championship in 2022 in Costa Rica. The USA and Brazil have the most titles with three.

New defensive line for Scranton’s Noelle Walker
