Action-packed superhero movie that is hated for the wrong reasons

Thor: The Dark World Admittedly, it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. At no point does Alan Taylor’s direction suggest that the Thor sequel will open up innovative new avenues of filmmaking, nor should any critic have felt that the film had anything new to say about the human condition.

But Thor: The Dark World is not a meditation on the absurdity of existence – it’s a Marvel superhero movie, and as a Marvel superhero movie, it’s awesome!

Thor: The Dark World has more action than its predecessor and better visual effects. It is also funnier than the first Thorespecially with Stellan Skarsgård’s Erik Selvig, who seems a bit crazier after his brain was messed up by the Mind Stone in avenger.

And I die on the hill with joy because Thor’s silent decision to hang Mjolnir on Selvig’s coat rack is one of the funniest moments in the MCU.

The battle at the end Thor: The Dark World between Thor and Malekith is entertaining and dynamic – certainly much more entertaining than the one between Thor and Loki in the first film – with the combatants being transported throughout the Nine Realms during their battle and Mjolnir constantly having to turn to find its master.

We get to see more of Agard and the Nine Realms and experience more action with the Warriors Three, Sif and Heimdall.
