Aaron Judge finally has his postseason moment as the Yankees take control of the ALCS

Aaron Judge sent the Yankees to Cleveland in full command of the ALCS.

The Yankees slugger found his swing on Tuesday, scoring three runs – including his first home run of the postseason – in a 6-3 win over the Guardians in Game 2 of the ALCS in the Bronx.

The Bombers now lead the best-of-seven series 2-0.

Judge’s popup in the first inning was mitigated by Cleveland shortstop Brayan Rocchio, allowing Gleyber Torres to score the game’s first run in the bottom of the first inning.

A sac fly in the third inning brought Anthony Rizzo over the plate in the third inning for a 3-0 lead.

Judge secured his best of the night in the seventh inning when he sent reliever Hunter Gaddis’ fastball just outside the centerfield wall for a welcome two-run blast and moved Torres to make the score 6-2.

The outfielder’s offensive burst helped the Yankees withstand a mediocre outing from ace Gerrit Cole, who lasted just 4 1/3 innings and allowed two earned runs on six hits with four walks and four strikeouts.
