The actress shared her experience of visiting the bungalow and treated her taste buds to a wide variety of dishes. The chef behind Bungalow is the legendary Vikas Khanna. Jenna Fischer shared a picture with the Michelin-starred chef on Instagram and wrote, “We had the meal of our lives thanks to Chef Vikas Khanna at Bungalow in NYC.” From the moment you step off the street, you become transported.”

Jenna Fischer gushed about the dining room’s “magical” and “divine” decor before singing the praises of the meals she had at the bungalow. The actress revealed that the restaurant’s spice-roasted pineapple yogurt kebabs are a must-try. Elaborating on the topic, she said, “The dining room is magical and the food is like nothing I’ve ever tasted before.” Everything was divine. Things you must eat if you go there: Yogurt kabab and spiced roasted pineapple (takes two days to make). Just trust me. You want that pineapple.”

Jenna Fischer had only kind words for chef Vikas Khanna and praised his excellent hospitality. She ended her post by saying, “This dining experience was full of love and care, thanks to Chef Khanna, who obviously puts his heart into every detail.” Thank you for a wonderful celebration. I can’t wait to go back!”

According to Bungalow’s official website, the restaurant offers “a nostalgic trip to India’s vintage clubhouses.” The name has a Bengali connection as it is derived from the word “Bangla”. History and culture are intertwined in this restaurant, heavily inspired by the “opulent clubs that have shaped Indian social life and camaraderie.” Bungalow takes foodies on a “unique” gastronomic journey with “recipes and reimagined classics” found across 28 Indian states.
