The result is that a giant Doctor Doom has appeared in the middle of the island and is trying to kill anyone who comes near him. This means that all Fortnite players will have to band together to take him down.

Doctor Doom’s health bar is absolutely huge. I spent an entire game with everyone in the lobby relentlessly shooting at it and we barely made a dent, but don’t worry, this is a marathon, not a sprint. His health bar is global, meaning it is the same for everyone currently playing the game anywhere in the world.

Doom will appear in every Battle Royale and Zero Build match until his HP reaches zero, and presumably then something big will happen that will advance the story of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 and lead us to the second live event will take a few weeks to prepare. It’s cool events like this that bring the entire Fortnite community together and make it one of the best best battle royale games any times.

If you just want to focus on this boss, don’t worry because once you’re in Doom range, you’ll become immune to all other players’ damage and only have to worry about winning the game if you finish the game abandoned – usually after the storm forced it to do so.
