Worcester police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a double murder.

On August 24 at approximately 1:06 p.m., Worcester Police were called to a Main Street apartment for a report of two women dead.

When they arrived, officers found two women who had apparently suffered numerous stab wounds.

Police are currently searching for 59-year-old William Rodriguez, who is suspected in connection with the fatal stabbings.

Rodriguez is described as a 6-foot-2 Hispanic man who weighs about 180 pounds, police said. He has gray hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. His last known address is 40 Belmont St. in Worcester and he sometimes wears glasses.

Anyone with information on Rodriguez’s whereabouts is asked to contact Criminal Investigation at (508) 799-8651.
