Horror comedy Munjyainspired by Marathi folklore, is now available for online streaming. The Bollywood film, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, was released in June. It features actors like Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh and Sathyaraj. Check where and how to watch it online on OTT.

Disney+ Hotstar announced in a social media post on August 23 that the film is now available for streaming on its platform. The update was shared via an Instagram post that featured a moving poster of Sharvari and Abhay Verma. In the film, Sharvari plays the role of Bella, also known as Munni.

Munjya is part of the horror comedy universe of Dinesh Vijan, the founder of Maddock Films. Other films in the universe are Street And Bhediya.

Street 2a sequel to the original, is running successfully in cinemas. The film, which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has already ₹485 crore gross worldwide, according to Sacnilk.

According to reports Bhediya 2 is also in the works. The original film starred Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, with Abhishek Banerjee sharing a common bond between Street 2 And Bhediya.

Munjyathe latest entry in Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe, deserves ₹125 Crore gross worldwide while it was made on a budget of around ₹50 Crores.

Varun Dhawan’s update

Varun Dhawan previously advised his fans to stay in the film for the post-credit scene Munjya. He posted a short video with his character Bhaskar from Bhediyaby adapting to its surroundings with the help of leaves and taking cover behind a rock.

Another character, Janardhan, played by Banerjee, helps by getting some clothes for Bhaskar.

Now we know that the scene from Street 2where Dhawan makes a special appearance as Bhaskar. Jana is there to help him with the clothes.
