When Magic Editor launched with the Pixel 8 Pro, it was the first time I got a helpful photo editing tool on a phone that can actually do the work of a real photo editor. What amazed me most was how it uses generative AI to remove unwanted things and how it can resize things with excellent results. With the Pixel 9 Pro XL, however, Google is taking things a step further and offering a new feature in Magic Editor called Reimagine.

This new AI-powered feature is also available on Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro. Not to be confused with Pixel Studio, which creates entirely new images from scratch based on a text prompt, Reimagine allows me to make selections in existing photos to enhance them.
