Elon, NC – Head Coach Women’s Tennis at Elon University Elizabeth Anderson has announced its fall schedule for the 2024-25 season. The Phoenix will participate in five tournaments and host two of them at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Complex.

Elon opens the season with two consecutive home tournaments, hosting the Jimmy Powell Invitational on September 13-14 and the Elon Invitational on October 4-5. The Phoenix will then compete in the ITA Regionals in Chapel Hill on October 17-21 and the North Carolina Central Invitational on October 18-20. Elon will close the fall campaign at the Liberty Invitational on November 1-3.

“We’re looking forward to an exciting fall and getting back to competing,” Anderson said. “Hosting the Jimmy Powell Invitational and the Elon Invitational are always highlights of the fall. We have a strong group of returning players and talented freshmen. They’ve worked hard and we can’t wait for them to get back on campus.”

The Elon women’s tennis team went 14-10 last year and has won 13 consecutive seasons under Anderson, who is in her 21st year.^st year at the helm of the Phoenix. She has a career mark of 289-183 in 20 years at Elon and the program has made it to the CAA Tournament semifinals at least eight times in the nine years Elon has been in the conference.
