“Strictly Come Dancing” star Gorka Márquez has revealed which cute roles his children should play in his future wedding to his fiancée Gemma Atkinson.

The professional dancer and the former Hollyoaks actress got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2021 and have four-year-old daughter Mia and newborn son Thiago together.

The family of four will be back on screens next week (May 6) in the second season of ‘Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind the Lens’, which airs on the W Channel.

In an exclusive interview with Digital SpyThe couple gave us an update on their wedding plans and admitted that they would like to have both children present at the wedding.

“We always said when Mia was born, now we want Mia to be here,” Gorka tells us. “And now that Thiago is here, it will be nice to wait until Thiago is more independent.”

“We don’t want a wedding where Mia or Gemma holds Thiago, Thiago screams because he’s hungry, and we have to call the wedding off.”

Gemma agrees, adding: “It will be nice to have both of them there, for example when they both walk down the aisle with a ribbon and rings.”

Here, Gorka admits that he has an important role in mind for his son Thiago when the special day comes.

“For example, I will have Thiago as my best man,” he says Digital Spy. “Like Thiago in his little suit, running down the stairs with me as my best man.”

As for the timing of the wedding, both confirmed that it will be at least another year or so.

“Maybe in a few years, we’re not really in a hurry,” Gemma said, and Gorka jokingly added: “Before Thiago is 18, we will do it.”

In the second season of “Life Behind the Lens,” viewers get a glimpse into the couple’s busy schedule: Mia starts school and the family of three adjusts to life as a foursome after the birth of Thiago last July.
