Jordan Love’s rise to become the highest-paid player in the NFL has changed his life in many ways. Dianna Russini of The Athletic visited the Green Bay Packers training camp and spoke with Love about how his contract has changed his life. In the process, Love revealed some good news that has nothing to do with football at all.

Apparently, the Cheeseheads signalman is getting married next year. However, there was a change of plans as Love was awarded a huge chunk of money. He spilled the beans to The Athletic reporter when she asked him about the details of the process.

“22 June”, said Jordan Love when Dianna asked him about the wedding. Due to the tight and busy schedule, the Packers didn’t have much time to oversee the preparations and his fiancée Ronika Stone is taking care of everything at the moment. “I mean, she took care of everything. I was at camp, so there wasn’t much time for me.”

Dianna Russini then asked Jordan Love a million dollar question by asking him: “You just got a brand new contract. You’re the highest paid player in the NFL. How much does your wedding budget change?” It seems that Jordan Love was completely taken aback by the question. He started laughing and the others followed suit.

Without saying too much and preserving the sanctity of his future marriage, Love replied: “That’s true, that’s true.” It would be a monumental memory for Jordan Love if he and the Packers somehow managed to win the Super Bowl and he then married the love of his life. If anything, it would be an incredible story for Love to tell his children in the future.

Well, the $75 million signing bonus from his 4-year, $220 million contract could help him throw a fantastic wedding, perhaps up in the mountains in Malibu, just like his teammate Christian Watson. The couple is already engaged! So, let’s talk about it.

About 8 weeks ago, Jordan Love and Ronika Stone went on a short vacation to Italy and when they returned, Ronika had an engagement ring on her finger. Who could say no to a ring in that environment? He uploaded a carousel of photos to Instagram and wrote: “First step to eternity 💍❤️.” The four years of his relationship, which culminated in that moment, looked beautiful.

There is one photo that caught our eye. Love is kneeling while proposing to Stone, and she is just holding back her tears. The background of the 13 Century Italian castle made the moment a hundred times more picturesque. Even Christian Watson and his wife Lakyn Watson commented on the post saying: “Yeeeeeeeeeeah! Congratulations!” 🍾”, And “I am so happy for you all 😭.”

The wedding is still a long way off, but luckily football season isn’t over yet. Last year, Jordan Love proved why he deserved every penny of that $220 million contract. Hopefully he has a stellar season this year.
