Ice Air is proud to be recognized as a recognized NYC Accelerator Service Provider

Ice Air, a leading manufacturer of innovative HVAC solutions, is proud to announce that it was recently named an approved NYC Accelerator Service Provider. As a member of the program, Ice Air will help achieve NYC Accelerator’s goal of improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions in buildings across New York City by providing resources, training and expert advice to building owners and operators.

NYC Accelerator, a program of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice, is designed to put the city on a path to carbon neutrality while building healthier, safer communities. The program offers free resources to help building owners, managers, developers, stakeholders, industry experts, and city residents implement energy and cost-saving measures to decarbonize New York. Interested parties can access events and training, receive guidance on local laws and regulations, and assistance with project financing.

As a service provider, Ice Air is ready to help implement energy improvements in buildings. Ice Air’s team of experts is well versed in local laws, regulations and incentives and can provide specialized advice for residential or commercial projects of any size. This support also extends to Local Law 97, which imposes caps on emissions from the city’s largest buildings and penalizes those that exceed their annual limits.

Ice Air is also honored to be part of the NYC Accelerator network of service providers, which provides resources to key construction decision makers throughout the decarbonization process.

Ric Nadel, founder and CEO of Ice Air, said, “Decarbonizing New York City is an important and worthy cause. Ice Air’s dedicated team will share their knowledge to help building owners achieve their goals in a way that also reduces operating costs.”

“With the passage of Local Law 97, HVAC design is critical,” added Tom Glass, director of sales and marketing. “Ice Air has the technology to reduce carbon emissions, and do so with high efficiency and long-term benefits.”
