The best deals for Google Pixel 8A: Save big with new models and trade-ins

Sometimes it feels like cheap phones are on the decline, but that’s not the case. You can still get yourself a very solid phone for less by opting for the Google Pixel 8A, which is an incredible budget version of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro and comes with the same new AI features. And even better, you can save even more money by taking advantage of these deals.

Check this out: Google’s Pixel 8A is here: What’s new and different?

The Pixel 8A has many of the same features as the higher-end models in the range, from similar battery life to comparable processors. It can also run Audio Magic Eraser, Best Take, and the Gemini Nano model, something Google’s budget phones haven’t been able to do in the past. The Pixel 8A even offers the same screen brightness as the standard Pixel 8, offering up to 2,000 nits of brightness (1,400 nits in HDR). It’s also pretty close to the flagship in the range in size. The Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch display, while the 8A measures 6.1 inches.

How much does the Pixel 8A cost?

The base 128GB model starts at $499, or you can double your storage to the 256GB model for just $60 more.

What colors is the Pixel 8A available in?

The Pixel 8A is available in four colors: Aloe (light green), Bay (light blue), Obsidian (black) and Porcelain (white).

The best deals for Pixel 8A

We’ve scoured the internet for the best Pixel 8A deals to help you get an upgrade at a great price. We’ll keep updating this page as new deals appear, so be sure to check back often.

Best Buy is offering its usual trade-in deals, which means you can shave a large chunk off the cost of a Pixel 8A depending on which phone you’re turning in. Technically, you could save up to $750 by trading in something like an iPhone 15 Max, though that’s an unlikely scenario. If you let Best Buy lock the phone into a carrier, you could save $100 and pay just $399 for a Pixel 8A.

Target is currently not offering any direct deals when purchasing an unlocked Pixel 8A. Using your Target Circle card, you can snag this phone at 5% off.

Verizon is currently offering a deal online only where you can get the Pixel 8A for $5 a month if you sign up for a 36-month contract on the Unlimited plan. This must be for a new line, so keep that in mind.

T-Mobile is currently offering you the opportunity to get a Google Pixel 8A for free, but there are limitations.

To get a free phone, you’ll need to buy the Pixel 8A on a monthly plan and then add a new line. Most plans are included in the deal, and you’ll get the cost of the phone back in bill credits over the 24-month contract period.

You can also buy a Pixel 8A and then trade in an old device to get up to $500 off. All the heavyweights are included, and any iPhone 11 or newer or Samsung Galaxy S9 or newer will get you the full $500 credit.

If you’re okay with paying in installments and opt for an unlimited plan, you can get the Google Pixel 8A for just $5.99 per month for 36 months. You can also get some Google Pixel Buds for free and save $100 on connected devices and Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses.

Not bad at all.
