Why did the groom cry on the wedding day?

The video, shared by famous videographer Boenphotographykenya, shows the groom, Dennis Karanja Kubai, dressed in a white shirt, black trousers and a white blazer with a hint of black. Karanja stood in front of the guests, holding his son and watching his wife walk towards him.

Janet, wearing an elegant white dress with a long veil and a bouquet of flowers, was beaming as she walked over to N.

Karanja was overwhelmed with emotion and shed tears of joy. At one point he was seen wiping his tears with a white handkerchief.

“It happened because of the kind of journey we’ve been through. Ups and downs, so many things have happened. That moment when no one thinks you can do it, that you can really do it, and here it happens. We remember what God has done for us. That moment was really emotional. Seeing me walk down the aisle was a confirmation of what God can do. Seeing our son call him and say, ‘Daddy, Mommy is coming…’ was emotional,” she said. TUKO.co.ke.

How did Janet Kimuyu and Dennis Karanja meet?

In conversation with TUKO.co.ke Hours after their beautiful wedding which took place on Saturday, August 17, at Kenmosa village in Eldoret, Janet from Kitui revealed more about her relationship.

Janet talked about their love story and revealed that they met at a college in Mombasa in 2009.

“We were fellow students. We studied civil engineering. We became friends and started dating in 2010,” she recalls.

The couple stayed together and in 2021, Karanja proposed to his partner. Earlier this year, she lost her engagement ring, a diamond ring.

“The diamond fell off at work. We looked all over the office, but I couldn’t find it. I told my husband and he said, ‘Instead of replacing it, let’s get married.’ We started announcing the wedding bans in March,” Janet recalls.

Janet Kimuyu shares the characteristics of a happy marriage

The mother of one advised people in a relationship not to settle down too quickly, but to take their time.

“Be sure of what you want. Whether he or she is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. If you ever doubt it, never do, because at the end of the day, it’s someone you’re going to live with,” she said.

Besides communication, she also shared other things that are important for a lasting marriage.

“Prayer is vital. Learn to be prayerful. Get to know your partner and what he likes and what he doesn’t like,” she said.

Groom sheds tears at wedding

Elsewhere, an emotional video circulated on social media showing a young man shedding tears as his bride walks down the aisle.

The bride walked down the aisle accompanied by her father, while the groom waited at the altar for the love of his life.

Some ladies wrote in the comments section that they wished their lover would cry like that on his wedding day.
