In other candy-related news, the FDA has issued a public warning about Diamond Shruumz’s microdosing candies after several reports of serious health problems surfaced. Six people were initially hospitalized with symptoms including seizures and nausea, and the number of people affected has now risen to 26 in 16 states, 16 of whom have been hospitalized. Despite this, Diamond Shruumz denies any wrongdoing and refuses to recall its products because they do not contain any illegal substances.

The FDA is still investigating the case and has advised consumers to avoid the candy. The agency is also discussing a possible recall with the company. Parents are urged to keep these products away from children and young people. If anyone becomes ill from eating the candy, they should call the poison control number 800-222-1222.
