For just a few months now, Hollow Grounds Coffee has been making drinks that are “strong enough to raise the dead.”

The coffee trailer is located in front of Thirsty Pagan Brewing in Superior and serves both iced and hot coffee drinks, tea and Italian sodas.

Jen Rosnau purchased the former Red Mug Coffee Cart and gave it a new lease of life. She has always been a coffee lover and was excited to try something new.

“Just a different turn in life. For me, it was a career change that just fell into my lap and everything worked out,” said Rosnau.

She creates new specialties every month and is offering an iced coffee special this weekend.

With names like “Phantom Fizz,” “Deadly Nightshade,” and “Dark Decent Mocha,” it’s clear there’s a theme.

“I’m pretty obsessed with Halloween. Anyone who knows me knows it’s my thing. So I wanted to live in a Halloween trailer year-round,” she said. “So I built my menu around simple coffeehouse classics like the cinnamon roll latte, the s’mores and the turtle. But then I wanted to put a little twist on all the other fun dishes.”

It is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
