THE BIGGEST SURF MOVIE IN THE UNIVERSE Exclusive clip: Australian animated raunch comedy now in cinemas

The stop-motion animation comedy The best surf film in the universe is now playing exclusively in “super cool theaters” thanks to Blue Fox Entertainment. We’ve got an exclusive clip – and the red band trailer – from Blue Fox for you today. Check them out below if you dare.

The greatest surf film in the universe is a slippery Team America-style Australian stop-motion puppet/live-action hybrid comedy, narrated on screen by Luke Hemsworth, and starring some of the world’s best surfers lending their voices to lifelike characters of themselves, including Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, Mason Ho, Griffin Colapinto, Jack Freestone, Craig Anderson and Matt Wilkinson.

It is set in 2034 after a deadly virus has wiped out a large portion of the population. In a rush to save humanity, a doctor has developed a vaccine that works, but instantly erases the ability to surf and any memory of surfing. Not knowing what to do with their lives, the world’s best surfers wander aimlessly in what’s left of society. Now it’s up to surf god Hughie to assemble a team of former greats who dominated wave riding in one last attempt to save surfing.

Is that The best surf film in the universe? The verdict is still pending. We have all seen Surfer: Teenager faces his fear which set the bar pretty high. This clip we have features surfing greats Mick Fanning, Mason Ho and Matt Wilkinson. After Mason Ho is reincarnated as a magical unicorn, he and Fanning find Wilkinson (who is now a cowboy) to convince him to join them in their mission to save surfing.
