Best Buy Flash Microsoft Sale: Deals on laptops, Xbox and more with up to 0 off

Whether you’re already back in school, about to get back into the books, or just looking to score a good deal, you can shop from today through Sunday, as Best Buy is hosting a three-day Microsoft sale on a selection of items—mostly laptops, including a Copilot+ system, but also desktops, Xbox hardware, and a few other things.

Starting with what is pictured above, you can Dell XPS 8960 Desktop on offer for $999.99 at Best Buy (Save $450) this weekend. That gets you a configuration with an Intel Core i7-14700 processor (20 cores/28 threads, up to 5.4 GHz, 33 MB L3 cache), 16 GB of DDR5 memory, a 1 TB M.2 solid-state drive, and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card.
We’d prefer to see a GeForce RTX 40-series GPU, but for lighter gaming, the RTX 3050 is sufficient (see our GeForce RTX 3050 review for benchmarks and analysis).

If you are looking for something mobile at about the same price, you can grab Lenovo’s Yoga Slim 7x for Now $999.99 (Save $200)This is one of the first Copilot+ laptops powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon hardware, and specifically the Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-78-100).

It also features a 14.5-inch 3K (2944 x 1840) OLED display with touch support, 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,000 nits of brightness; 16GB LPDDR5X-8448 RAM; 512GB M.2 SSD; three USB-C ports; and a rated battery life of up to 22.1 hours.

Coming back to the Snapdragon X Elite chip, it has a dozen cores with a maximum multi-threaded clock speed of 3.4 GHz, 42 MB of total cache, and a dedicated NPU (Neural Processing Unit) capable of 45 TOPS of AI performance.

You don’t have to spend a thousand dollars on a laptop, though. As part of the three-day Microsoft sale, Best Buy is selling a number of discounted laptops, most of which cost around $500 or less…

Man playing on an ASUS ROG Ally.

All work, no play… well, you know the saying. That’s why the original ASUS ROG Ally handheld (not the ROG Ally X) is also on sale, as is the Xbox Series X (though that always seems to be below MSRP). The same goes for some peripherals, and so on.

Here’s a look…
