Max has released a first photo from his new medical drama “The Pitt,” which stars Noah Wyle and also serves as an executive producer. Fellow “ER” veterans John Wells and R. Scott Gemmill are executive producers.

Wyle plays Dr. Michael Robinavitch (aka Dr. Robby) in the series about the frontline heroes who work in a modern Pittsburgh hospital. The cast also includes Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Isa Briones, Taylor Dearden, Gerran Howell, Shabana Azeez and Katherine LaNasa. (Source: Max)

Another world
Netflix is ​​reportedly working on a half-hour single-cam comedy series that will serve as a sequel to the 1980s sitcom and “Cosby Show” spin-off “A Different World.”

NBC has released the official trailer for its latest medical drama, “Brilliant Minds,” in which Emmy-nominated Zachary Quinto plays the eccentric and larger-than-life neurologist Dr. Oliver Wolf.

Wolf and his team of interns explore the last great frontier – the human mind – while also grappling with their own relationships and mental health. The series premieres Monday, September 23 and streams the next day on Peacock.

FX has released the teaser trailer for “American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez,” the 10-episode first season of the Ryan Murphy-produced anthology series premiering September 17 on FX.

Based on several podcasts, it traces the rise and fall of NFL star and New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez (Josh Rivera). The show explores his identity and family, his career, and ultimately his suicide and overall legacy.

Adam Sandler: I love you
Netflix has released the trailer for Adam Sandler: Love You, the actor and comedian’s new stand-up comedy special directed by Josh Safdie (“Uncut Gems”). It will premiere worldwide on Netflix on August 27 and is Sandler’s second Netflix comedy special after 2018’s 100% Fresh.
