KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – Tech. Sgt. Aaron Jennings, 8th Operations Support Squadron noncommissioned officer in charge of the current operational flight, was selected as the 8th Fighter Wing’s Pride of the Pack for the week of Aug. 12-16.

As the squadron’s primary operational planning coordinator, Jennings was able to coordinate maintenance, operations, training, airspace and tanker resources to increase the overall effectiveness of squadron activities, including daily training, exercises and higher headquarters tasks.

While ensuring smooth operations of the 8th OSS during a multi-month vacancy of the current operations flight command, he monitored the squadron’s flight hour program and identified a 211-hour discrepancy between the operations and maintenance tracking systems.

Taking the initiative beyond his primary duties, Jennings accessed the maintenance tracking system and meticulously reviewed over 6,500 hours from more than 4,700 8th FW missions since October 1, 2023. He used a data analysis strategy he developed himself to perform a line-by-line review, resolve the discrepancies within a week, and reconcile the records to within 8 hours.

Congratulations to Jennings for his unwavering devotion to the Wolf Pack as this week’s Pride of the Pack.
