Country artist Morgan Johnston explores her roots with her new single “Family Tree.”

Throughout her career in the music business, Johnston has opened for country acts as diverse as Lainey Wilson, Dustin Lynch, Sawyer Brown and Madison Beer, and recently signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music in a joint venture with Jenna Andrews and Stephen Kirk.

“My best friend Hannah is more like a sister. If I got arrested, she’d be in handcuffs too,” Johnston sings in the first verse of “Family Tree,” captivating her listeners.

Her rich, crystal clear vocals are reminiscent of Taylor Swift meets RaeLynn. This track is vocally, lyrically and sonically outstanding. She also lets her bubbly personality shine in this song.

The song itself has a warm and sweet message that will resonate with her audience. This song has an honesty, beauty and simplicity that is infectious.

“Family Tree” is available from digital service providers here. It gets two thumbs up.
