The European football midweek card ended on Thursday, with three more La Liga clubs in action: Athletic Club traveled to Ludogorets as kick-offs began, while Real Sociedad also faced Viktoria Plzen and Real Betis NK in the Europa League Celje was a guest in the Conference League.

Ludogorets 1-2 Athletic Club

It is three straight wins for Athletic Club in the Europa League as they came from behind to beat Ludogorets. Erick Marcus scored the first goal for the Bulgarian champions, but second-half goals from Inaki Williams and Nico Serrano ensured a wonderful victory for Ernesto Valverde’s side.

Viktoria Plzen 2-1 Real Sociedad

It is Real Sociedad’s third winless game in four Europa League games as they suffered defeat in the Czech Republic. Prince Adu opened the scoring for the hosts and while Orri Oskarsson equalized for La Real, Daniel Vasulin’s 90th minute goal was the winner.

Real Betis 2-1 NK Celje

Real Betis picked up their first league stage win in the Conference League this season and it was a late winner that proved decisive. Natan opened the scoring in the second half and although Juanju Nieto equalized for the visitors, Juanmi scored in the 94th minute to secure all three points.
