Halle Bailey calls her ex, DDGafter her 9-month-old son, Halo, appeared on a livestream without her consent.

“Hello everyone. Just so you know I’m out of town and I don’t approve of my baby being on stream tonight,” Bailey, 24, shared in an on Wednesday, November 6, just hours after DDG and Halo A now-deleted message about X appeared on YouTuber Kai Cenat‘s Twitch stream. (Cenat has over 13 million followers on Twitch.)

“I was not told or notified and I am extremely distraught about giving birth to my baby in front of millions of people,” he said Little Mermaid Star continued, according to outlets including People and the Daily Mail.

“I am his mother and protector and am saddened that I was not notified, especially when I am out of town,” Bailey, 24, added.

DDG — real name Darryl Dwayne Grandberry Jr. — announced his split from Bailey in early October, less than a year after the former couple welcomed baby Halo.

“After much thought and heartfelt support conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” wrote the 27-year-old DDG in his Instagram story on October 3rd. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it is the best path forward for both of us.”

DDG shared that he really valued the time he and Bailey “spent together” and the “love” they felt for each other over the course of their relationship.

“Despite changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and love each other,” he continued. “As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we value the bond we have built and the beautiful moments we have shared.”

Bailey and DDG were first linked in January 2022 and made their first red carpet appearance together at the BET Awards in June 2022.

In January, Bailey responded to months of pregnancy rumors by confirming via Instagram that she had given birth to her first child with DDG in 2023.

“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son,” she captioned a photo of her newborn’s tiny hand via Instagram on Jan. 6. “Welcome to The World, my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨The world really wants to get to know you 😉🤣♥️.”
